<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal and communication system capable of suppressing a data amount without requiring any compression circuit for video. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An imaging unit 100 performs optic/electric conversion into a subject image formed by an optical system and converts the subject image into video data where each of frames is constituted of color data in a plurality of colors. A system controller 102 performs processing, for thinning color data in at least one or more colors of pixels in one frame onto the video data.
