摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that although higher efficiency of a power conversion apparatus can be attained by making the voltage of DC power supplies 1P and 1N higher, but efficiency of the power conversion apparatus is reduced because the DC power supply such as a solar panel has a low breakdown voltage, a high voltage DC power supply is difficult to attain, and the booster circuit of a power conversion apparatus which supplies AC power to a load or a power system by boosting and then converting a DC voltage into an AC voltage has a large loss. <P>SOLUTION: Two sets of DC power supplies 1P and 1N are connected in series and the series joint thereof (neutral of power supply) is grounded thus attaining a high voltage DC power supply while ensuring the breakdown voltage of a power supply. Furthermore, high efficiency power conversion is attained by bypassing a booster circuit 7 through a diode 2P when the voltage Vp of the DC power supply is high, and supplying the DC power supply voltage to an inverter 5 while boosting through the booster circuit 7 only when it is low, thereby minimizing the loss incident to boosting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
