PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation system which is arranged in parallel to a plurality of photovoltaic power generation units, and which reduces power loss at a power line to which the plurality of photovoltaic power generation units are directly or indirectly connected. SOLUTION: The photovoltaic power generation system has: a plurality of photovoltaic power generation units 100 and 101 which each have a photovoltaic cell unit 1 to which a plurality of photovoltaic cell modules are connected, and an inverter device 2 that converts a DC voltage output from the photovoltaic cell unit 1 to an AC voltage; and the power line 6 and a super-conductive cable 9 arranged in parallel to the plurality of photovoltaic power generation units 100 and 101, and to which the plurality of photovoltaic power generation units 100 and 101 are connected, respectively.
