<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle route prediction device for predicting the route of a vehicle with high precision following the actual traffic conditions. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When it is determined that an opposing vehicle M3 passes a preceding opposing vehicle M2, achievement probability with which a possible route on which an opposing vehicle M3 travels across an opposing lane L1 to an own lane 2 side is achieved is relatively more highly calculated than the case that it is determined that the opposing vehicle M3 does not pass the opposing vehicle M2. Thus, it is possible to predict the route of the opposing vehicle M3 by reflecting whether or not it is in such situations that the opposing vehicle M3 passes the preceding opposing vehicle M2.
