<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit such that a necessary circuit module is supplied with electric power without predetermining a start-up time of a power supply circuit to lower power consumption, and to provide a power supply control method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit includes a power source which supplies electric power to the circuit module whose power source is separated from a main power source of the semiconductor integrated circuit, an output control circuit which controls output of an output signal from the circuit module, and a sequence control circuit which controls the power supply by the power source and the output control circuit. When power supply from the power source to the circuit module is started, the power supply from the power source to the circuit module is started according to a power supply control signal outputted from the sequence control circuit, and a first feedback signal is output to the sequence control circuit after the start of the power supply; and the sequence control circuit outputs a control signal to the output control circuit according to the first feedback signal.
