<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improving apparatus constituted by providing an excavation shaft with a horizontal shaft body being a means for preventing the simultaneous rotation of excavated soil, attaching a plurality of stirring elements to the horizontal shaft body to rotate around a horizontal axial line together with the horizontal shaft body and extend by protruding from the outer peripheral face of the horizontal shaft body, and enabling the stirring elements being damaged or close to its end of service life to be selectively replaced in accordance with its state of damage. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This soil improving apparatus is constituted by forming a male screw 17b at the terminal part of the stirring body 17, forming a female screw 24b to be screw-fitted in the male screw 17b on the horizontal shaft body 24, and attaching the stirring body 17 detachably by screwing the male screw 17b in the female screw 24b through a screwing-in method.
