PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bending damage to a side member, when a bumper stay 4 interposed between the side member 1 and a bumper reinforce 3 is tilted outside in the vehicle lateral direction, in a vehicle frontal collision. SOLUTION: A body 5 of the bumper stay 4 is formed in a columnar shape in the longitudinal direction. A longitudinal directional line R on the innermost side in the vehicle lateral direction in the columnar body 5 in a plan view, is inclined to a vehicle straightly advancing line so as to be gradually biased outside in the vehicle lateral direction toward a front side part in the plan view up to a longitudinal intermediate part from a rear end part of at least the columnar body 5. The buckling neutral axis C up to the longitudinal intermediate part from the rear end part of at least the columnar body 5, is inclined to the vehicle straightly advancing line so as to be gradually biased outside in the vehicle lateral direction toward the front side part in the plan view.
