The flotation of iron sulphides for removing pollutants from the iron oxide concentration process results more efficient at an acid PH, since a series of researches carried out with different liquid solutions led to recognise a mixture of sulphuric acid and cane alcohol vinegar as an optimum and efficient mixture for the purposes of the process. The preparation of the mixture is an essential factor for the effectiveness of the application thereof at the moment of being added to the process for conditioning the mineral pulp.
