Provided is an imaging device capable of stably detecting an object independent of the usage condition. The device is provided with a plurality of main sensors (32) which include a wavelength region (??23) of detection light for detecting a nearby object as the optical wavelength receiving region in a display area (21) of an I/O display panel (20), and a plurality of auxiliary sensors (33) having a light sensitivity in a wavelength region of this detection light which is lower than that of the main sensors (32). In addition, a composite image (F) based on a difference image (MC) obtained from the main sensors (32) and a difference image (HC) obtained from the auxiliary sensors (33) is used to obtain the object information of the nearby object. For example, the generation of false signals in the composite image (F) is suppressed even when the nearby object moves in the display area (21) of the I/O display panel (20).
