<p>An attachment mechanism (1) adapted for attachment of an armor element (A) to a body to be protected (B) by the armor element (A), the attachment mechanism (1) comprising a first unit (20) and a second unit (10) which are adapted to engage with each other to provide the attachment, said first unit (20) comprising a second static member (30) and a working member (40). One of the first and second units is adapted for fixed attachment to the armor element, and the other is adapted for fixed attachment to the body to be protected (B). The mechanism further comprises a screw-free locking arrangement between the first and second unit, defined by a locking gap (G) associated with a locking body portion (52,57) movably held the first static member (30), and a locking tongue portion (41) of the working member (40) acting on the second unit.</p> |
