The method involves arranging presses one behind the other in a continuous direction. A part to be pressed is rotatably inserted into a press tool of a pres and/or removed from the press tool. Another press is inserted into the press tool. Shape and size of an area, which is provided in the press for arrangement of the press tool, are determined. Size and shape of a collision-area are determined, where the collision area is inserted during introduction of the part to be pressed into the press, during removal of the pressed part and during insertion and removal of the transport devices.
