<p>Disclosed are a refrigeration cycle system and an automotive air conditioning system that uses said refrigeration cycle system that maintain compressor lubrication and operate at an excellent coefficient of performance despite of the fact that a condenser uses lubricant and refrigerant that separate from each other as an operating fluid. A refrigeration cycle system (12) is equipped with a compressor (22), a condenser (24), an expansion valve (26), and an evaporator (28), which are inserted in order in one flow direction of an operating fluid in a circulating path (14) in which lubricant and refrigerant, that separate from each other at temperatures in excess of a two-layer separation temperature, are filled as the operating fluid, and a lubricant return means, which prevents lubricant from accumulating in the condenser (24). The lubricant return means keeps the pressure of the refrigerant in the condenser (24) below the saturation pressure of the refrigerant at the two-layer separation temperature when the operating fluid is flowing in one direction in the circulation path (14), the temperature surrounding the condenser (24) is lower than the two-layer separation temperature.</p> |
