<p>A patent foramen ovale closing high-frequency surgical device for treating a patent foramen ovale (PFO) in the heart is provided with a first and a second electrode for gripping biological tissue of the PFO, a high-frequency power supply unit for supplying high-frequency power to the biological tissue via both the electrodes, an impedance measurement unit for measuring the impedance value by the supply of the high-frequency power to the biological tissue, a grip state determination unit for determining the grip state of the biological tissue in the blood by both the electrodes for gripping the biological tissue according to the measured impedance value, and a control unit for controlling the supply of the high-frequency power at predetermined power necessary for the treatment according to the result of the determination.</p> |
