PURPOSE: A terahertz pulse wave fourier transform monochromator and a spectroscopic method using the same are provided to analyze specific of materials by converting time domain data after rapidly measuring the time domain data. CONSTITUTION: A terahertz pulse wave fourier transform monochromator includes a femtosecond laser generators(50,100), a terahertz pulse wave generators(200,300), a terahertz beam splitter(400), a detector(500), and an analyzer. The femtosecond laser generator generates femto second laser pulses having repetition frequency. The terahertz pulse wave generator generates terahertz pulse waves with the femto second laser pulses. A terahertz beam splitter forms overlapped terahertz pulse waves.
