FULL-SPADE RUDDER OF SHIP

PURPOSE: A full-spade rudder for a ship is provided to improve strength by installing a support shaft instead of a rudder trunk, and to reduce manufacturing costs without using expensive materials. CONSTITUTION: A full-spade rudder(1) for a ship comprises a rudder shaft(10) and a support shaft(50). The top end of the rudder shaft is connected to a steering gear(20), and the bottom end is fixed to a rudder blade(30). The rudder shaft has a hollow shaft unit(11). The hollow shaft is inserted into the outer surface of the support shaft, and is rotatably supported. The support shaft is protruded from the bottom surface of an external plate(40).
