PURPOSE: A rubber composition for tire tread is provided to improve modulus by increasing crosslinking density, to reduce Zn content, to ensure low fuel efficiency of tire, and to be useful for an environment-friendly tire. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for tire tread comprises 100.0 parts by weight of a base rubber, 45-60 parts by weight of carbon black, and 2.5-5 parts by weight of zinc monomethacrylate. The base rubber is a natural rubber. The rubber composition includes one or more compounding materials selected from the group consisting of adhesive, rubber accelerator and retarder. The content is 45-60 parts by weight based on 100.0 parts by weight of the base rubber. |
