PURPOSE: A method and a system for receiving a broadcasting stream of a broadcasting receiver are provided to receive a broadcasting stream whose resolution is controlled from a broadcasting server, thereby providing a good broadcasting screen. CONSTITUTION: If a network error or overload of a broadcasting receiver occurs during play of a broadcasting stream, a stream error rate to the broadcasting stream is measured(S300~S304). If the measured stream error rate is larger than a reference value, the measured stream error rate is transmitted to the broadcasting service server(S306,S308). A broadcasting stream whose resolution is controlled until there is no network error or overload of the broadcasting receiver is received again(S310). |
