PURPOSE: A descrambling method in a digital broadcasting system and an apparatus thereof are provided to descramble a paid broadcast signal using a VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) ID, thereby realizing a digital broadcast watching condition which does not need separate CAS related software. CONSTITUTION: A tuner(102) performs frequency tuning for a scrambled transport stream. A demodulator(104) demodulates the tuned scrambling transport stream to detect an initially transmitted transport signal. A controller(106) analyzes the VoIP ID from the scrambling transport stream. The controller descrambles the analyzed scrambling transport stream. |
