PURPOSE: A method for providing channel tuning of a broadcasting receiver is provided to check information of all broadcast channels even though channel up/down keys are not repetitively inputted, thereby increasing use convenience. CONSTITUTION: A viewing mode is performed. In the viewing mode, a specific broadcast channel is changed and received through a channel up key or a channel down key(S200). An auto search mode is performed if the channel up key is inputted during the first setup time in case on the viewing mode(S202~S206). If a selection key for channel selection is inputted during the auto search mode, a broadcast channel outputted at the input time is selected as a viewing channel to perform a viewing mode(S212). |
