The present invention is related to a novel analytical device for performing tests based on body fluids, mainly urine samples, by an immunoassay reaction, and the method used in the performance of said tests for detecting pregnancy or ovulation in human beings. The inventive device comprises three components: handle, receptacle and cap, which are characterised in that said assembled pieces provide an analytical device for pregnancy or ovulation tests, which offers in a novel and safe manner the elements required for taking the fluid sample and handling the excess thereof, bringing into contact the sample with the reactive or diagnostic strip and observing the test result. The analytical device is also characterised in that it has elements that maintain the same and the test elements thereof safe, reliable and clean without interfering in the result reading of the test and safe for the handle and storage thereof during its whole manufacturing and commercialization process and until its final use, with which a safe and reliable diagnostic product for performing pregnancy or ovulation tests in human beings is obtained. |
