The invention relates to a process for producing a part (1) made of a composite that comprises at least one hollow shape (4). The process comprises a step of producing at least one volume corresponding to the hollow shape by means of a rigid cellular material that forms a core (5) and a step of producing a structure, made of a composite, of the part (1) around the at least one core (5). According to the invention, the process comprises the following subsequent steps: - etching the material of the core such that said etching causes an at least partial degradation of the at least one core, then - extraction of the degraded core out of the part via an opening of the hollow shape.
