The debug-device (10) has an interface (103) for electrically connecting a memory card and a card reader controller (101), where the debug-device is attached to a memory card insertion part of a card reader. Another interface (104) e.g. Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface, electrically interconnects a motherboard of a computer and the controller. A debug circuit (102) is electrically connected with the motherboard of the computer and the former interface. The former interface is designed as a multi-functional interface, which is used for the controller and the debug circuit.
