PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to enable a user or an installer to safely clean and repair a filter by stably supporting an opened front panel. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a chassis(11), a front panel(12), a center frame(13), a fan assembly, a heat exchanger, hinges, and a link. The front panel is coupled to the front of the chassis. The center frame is inserted between the chassis and the front panel. The fan assembly is installed in the front of the chassis, and inhales indoor air. The heat exchanger heat-exchanges the indoor air inhaled from the fan assembly. The hinges are extended from both ends of the front panel, and move the front panel. One end of the link is connected to the front panel, and the other end is connected to the center frame. The link fixes the opened front panel. |
