<p>The method involves detecting one or multiple objects (102,103) in the surrounding of a vehicle (101) with the distance. The vehicle has an automatic steering, and controls the vehicle depending on the actually detected distance. The automatic braking of the vehicle takes place in a stationary state, when the vehicle approaches one or multiple objects until the predetermined distance marginal values. An independent claim is included for a method for supporting the driver when maneuvering a vehicle.</p> |
