PURPOSE: A photographing apparatus and a photographing method are provided to determine one or more photographing parameters set during main photography based on photographing condition information. CONSTITUTION: An image input controller generates an image signal which can be processed. The generated image signal is outputted to an image processor(105). The image input controller controls read and write of image data. The image processor generates an image signal which is processed. The image processor calculates an AE evaluation value and an AF evaluation value based on the image signal. The calculated evaluation values are transmitted to an MPU(110).
