PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for testing wireless communication terminal are provided to perform a test of wireless communication terminal effectively by preventing downlink test signal mixing with an uplink test signal. CONSTITUTION: A base station emulator(10) transmits control signal according to predetermined downlink timing or uplink timing. A signal generator(20) generates downstream test signal according to the control signal. The signal generator downlinks the generated downstream test signal. A switch unit(30) transmits the downlinked downstream test signal to a wireless communication terminal. The switch unit uplinks an upturn test signal which is generated by the wireless communication terminal.
