The connector (1) has an adjustment part (13) extending over a lower part of a fiber optic transceiver receiving chamber (10) and an adapter base protection element (4). The element is moved in a direction in which a fiber optic transceiver (2) i.e. light emitting or receiving element, is incorporated, such that the element is fitted and held in an optical plug-in connector housing (3). The adjustment part is designed to hold inclined parts of adapter bases (7) in a longitudinal direction and to press the inclined parts in a vertical direction based on clamping of the inclined parts. |
