<p>The invention discloses a method for authenticating short message service, which comprises: the short message center (SC) judges whether a calling user is an intelligent network user; if the calling user is an intelligent network user, SC inquires the account information of the calling user from service data point (SDP) database, and according to the inquiry result, authenticates whether the calling user has the authority used to send the short message. The inquiry message is transmitted through the No.7 signaling network more suitable for transmission of the signaling message, which leaves out the process that SC switches to the IP network via the charging gateway, and inquires the user database through IP network. The present invention improves the transmission reliability of inquiry message, avoids the transmission delay likely to occur in IP network, and facilitates the centralized management of account information of the mobile intelligent user and improves network resource utilization rate.</p> |
