Magnetic cores arranged in rows and columns are threaded by disposing them in a jig arranged at an angle to the horizontal, providing conductor wires in guide members aligned with the rows and columns, and vibrating the guide members so that the conductors find their way through the apertures of the cores. The cores are held in recesses by suction and the guide members are tubes attached to the side of the jig or to a separate support. Alternatively the guide members may be formed by a grooved support covered by a plate. Preferably both the jig and the guide members are vibrated to set the wires moving. All the rows (or columns) are threaded simultaneously. |
