PURPOSE: A surface processing method of a metal and a metallic product using thereof are provided to maintain a metal gloss effect by spraying a transparent pigment on the surface of the metallic product. CONSTITUTION: A surface processing method of a metal comprises the following steps: coating a fixed surface of a metallic product(S14); and forming an oxide film to the other surfaces except for the coated surface(S22). The metallic product includes magnesium and magnesium alloys. The step of coating the fixed surface of the metallic product is performed by spraying a transparent pigment on the surface of the metallic product.
