摘要 The invention relates to a process for conversion of diisobutylenes to isooctane in high yields, the process comprising contacting a hydrocarbon feed comprising diisobutylenes with a catalyst system comprising a hydrogenating metal loaded on an ion exchange resin having acidic functional groups at a temperature in the range of 100 °C to 115 °C and at a pressure in the range of 30 to 80 bars. The invention also relates to the catalyst system used for the process.
