The device has a front part (10) with a control fin (13) and brake surface (13a), where the device is driven by combination of s-shaped wave movement with wing profiles at a vertical tail pin by utilization of large muscle groups in arms, trunk, pelvis and legs. A middle part (30) is provided with a fixing device for fixing a diver and for transmitting force to a rear part (40). An elastically bendable and twistable connection is provided between the front part and the middle part. The rear part is provided with a movable tail (41) and a moveable tail fin (42).
