PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having widget alarm function and an operating method thereof are provided to allow user to look information which is provided by particular widget without specific manipulation by marking information provided through a performance of a fixed widget with output of an alarm signal. CONSTITUTION: A controller is provided with related information through performance of a fixed widget when alarm time comes(S305). The controller displays screen correspond to the provided information to a display unit(S310). The controller controls alarm signal of a fixed type to be outputted(S315) by referring a related information of fixed alarm.
