The spindle motor has an electric motor and a spindle drive that is driven by the electric motor, where a spindle (25) is connected with a rotor shaft (10) of the electric motor by a screw. A screw connection is positioned between the spindle and the rotor shaft by a strutting unit. A guide ring (2) is provided, which is made of Teflon(RTM: fluoropolymer), where a piston rod (3) is made of metal, particularly steel or aluminum. A chromium plating surface and a thermo chemical diffusion coating surface or a nitrated surface are also provided.
