METHOD FOR LOCKING AND UNLOCKING A LOCKING DEVICE

The method is for unlocking a locking device. The user enters a code (150) into the locking system. A processor (139) compares the code (150) with a correct code (136). When the code (150) is identical to the correct code (136) then the processor (139) activates the actuator (115) to operatively connect shaft (116) with the add-on device (114). The user turns the shaft (116) from a locked position (132) to an unlocked position (134) to open the locking system (100) via the add-on device (114). A key (137) is entered into the cylinder lock (112). The key is turned to lock the locking system (100) or open the locking system (100) via the add-on device (114). (Fig. 1)
