<p>A plug (1) for a fuel cell is used by being removably connected to a socket (2) adapted for the fuel cell and having a valve mechanism for supplying liquid fuel to the fuel cell (5). The plug (1) is provided with a valve mechanism, a nozzle (11b) inserted into the socket (2), and a nozzle guide (14) provided to the outer periphery on the tip side of the nozzle (11b) and causing the nozzle (11b) to project only when the plug (1) is connected to the socket (2) matching the plug (1).</p>
