PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method of handling the interrupt of a car audio system are provided to prevent complexity of the design of a system or an apparatus and other problems to be resulted from the design complexity by performing a plurality of interrupt functions with an interrupt port. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for handling the interrupt of a car audio system is composed of an interrupt handling means(200) and a control means(300). When an interrupt for a change from a power saving mode to a normal mode occurs, the interrupt handling means outputs a corresponding signal. According to the output signal of the interrupt handling means, the control means controls to temporarily change from the power saving mode to the normal mode.
