COMPOSITION FOR WHITENING CONTAINING EXTRACT OF SOLANUM INTEGRIFOLIUM

PURPOSE: A whitening composition containing Solanum integrifolium is provided to suppress melanogensis and to ensure whitening effect without cytotoxicity. CONSTITUTION: A whitening composition contains Solanum integrifolium extract. A method for preparing the Solanum integrifolium extract comprises: a step of washing Solanum integrifolium with water and drying; a step of extracting the Solanum integrifolium in an extractor at proper temperature; and a step of filtering and concentrating with a vacuum evaporator. The Solanum integrifolium extract is isolated using water, low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms or mixture solvent thereof. A cosmetic composition contains Solanum integrifolium extract and dermatologically acceptable carrier.
