In a drive apparatus (2) in which a first motor-generator (4), a power split device (5), a shift mechanism (10), and a second motor-generator (9) are coaxially arranged, a first support wall (25) which is next to the second motor-generator (9) and supports one end of a rotor (21), and a second support wall (26) that supports the other end of the rotor (21) are provided in a case (17). A switching portion (41) of the shift mechanism (10) is provided on the first support wall (25). This kind of structure enables the drive apparatus to be shorter in the axial direction.
