PURPOSE: A toilet bowl having a sterilizing function and a control method thereof are provided to completely sterilize a toilet seat using a germicidal lamp emitting ultraviolet ray, to reduce noise due to the closing of a cover, and to prevent the germicidal lamp from damage. CONSTITUTION: A toilet bowl comprises: a toilet seat(10); a supporting part(20) supporting the toilet seat; a water tub(30) which stores water washing the toilet bowl; a cover(40) which is rotatably installed; a sterilization unit(50) which is included on one side of the cover and selectively sterilizes the toilet seat; and a buffering unit(60) absorbing impacts which are generated when a user opens and shuts the cover. |
