Ethernet surge protection circuit, a telephone line communication device, and a communication system using the same are provided to offer internet, IP- TV(Internet Protocol-TV), VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) and home automation through ultra high speed Ethernet communication at home or office without space limit due to room or divider. A first TLC(Telephone Line Communication) port(TLC port) transmits a TLC signal and LAN(Local Area Network) signal. A power line transmits PLC(Power Line Communication) signal. A signal coupler(230) separates or unites the TLC signal and PLC signal. An Ethernet switch block(252) has one or more LAN ports. A network processor(260) processes data signal from the Ethernet switch block.
