POUCH TYPE SECONDARY BATTERY

PURPOSE: A pouch type secondary battery is provided to ensure simple process and to save additional costs by removing a lead tab formation process, and to improve safety by removing constant resistance according to tab connection. CONSTITUTION: A pouch type secondary battery comprises a positive electrode(120), a negative electrode, an electrode assembly in which a separation film is wound, and a case(110) for accepting the electrode assembly. The positive electrode and negative electrode are coated on at least one side of a metal current collector(123). The metal current collector does not include a separate lead tab. An uncoated area(160) of the metal current collector is exposed to the outside of a pouch and replaces the lead tab.
