PURPOSE: A patient position monitoring device is provided to improve convenience and accuracy of a surgical operation by generating an alarm signal when the position of the patient is changed. CONSTITUTION: A position guider(10) includes a source irradiation unit, a first communication unit, and a first controller. The source irradiation unit is arranged on the patient and irradiates a source to a guide marker(20) attached to the patient. The source irradiation unit irradiates one source from a laser, an LED, an ultrasonic wave, a split light, and an infrared ray. A first communication unit communicates with the guide marker. The first controller determines the position change of the patient by receiving the source sensing information of the guide marker through the first communication unit.
