MULTIFUNCTIONAL OPTICAL PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THE SAME

PURPOSE: A multifunctional optical printed circuit board and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the defect due to a connection point between an optical device and an optical waveguide by forming an integrated optical device and optical waveguide. CONSTITUTION: An optical waveguide(10) transfers optical signal. A wavelength division multiplexing device(20) divides the wavelength of the optical signal with a multimode interference. An optical distribution device(30) distributes the optical signal. An optical switch device(40) switches the route of the optical signal using a thermo-optic effect. The optical waveguide, the wavelength division multiplexing device, the optical distribution device and the optical switch device are integrated on one clad.
