Method and device for ultrasonically cleaning hollow bodies

The method involves injecting ultrasonic waves (24) produced by a sonotrode (23) into a lumen (22) of a medical instrument (21), and arranging the sonotrode and the instrument in a container with transmission fluid that flows into the lumen. The sonotrode is arranged in an intensive contamination, and the instrument is fastened at a surface of a rod or plate shaped part that is moved by the sonotrode. A flow of the fluid is induced in the lumen for discharging particles from the lumen, where the particles are removed by the ultrasonic waves. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing an object passage cleaning method.
