<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein it is difficult to arbitrarily set and easily change the probability of generation of a ready-to-win state and the rate of appearance of each ready-to-win mode. <P>SOLUTION: The random number for determining a failure symbol for left symbols is extracted at the time for setting the failure symbol, and the extracted value is stored in a left symbol storage area.
