The apparatus (1) has a sensor with a finger movable between deployed and retracted positions to identify state of the apparatus or a component of the apparatus. The sensor has an obturator (17) associated with the movement of the finger. The obturator is movable between a closed position in which the obturator reflects light from a portion of a light source (5) of a unit (4) towards a photosensitive matrix (6) and an open position in which the obturator allows passage of the light. Driving rollers move a sheet (14) in front of the unit to obtain an image of a face of the sheet. |
