The tool (20) has a fixed annular plate (30) co-axially mounted on a universal orbital tool support and with an annular electric collector (35) at its periphery. A rotary mobile annular plate (50) is rotatable with respect to the fixed plate via grooved rollers (34). The mobile plate has electrical contacts formed by a trolley (55) co-operating with the collector, and an actuating unit to rotatably actuate the mobile plate. The mobile plate has a machining unit (70) to machine a rotary metallic wall, and a pneumatic supply unit (80) to apply and maintain the machining unit on the wall.
