The method involves eroding a flow channel (4) from a conductive wheel disk (3) or a single disk (5) for production of rotor blades (2) using a electrical discharge machining method i.e. die sinking method, where the conductive wheel disk and the single disk are made of hard metal. Ends (7) of adjacent rotor blades are connected together as a single piece. A cover plate or a cover band (6) and a damper wire at circular ends of the wheel disk or the single disk are eroded from the wheel disk or the single disk using the electrical discharge machining method. An independent claim is also included for a device for production of a rotor blade and the wheel-disk for a turbomachine.
