The arrangement has a radial running wheel (10) comprising a support plate (12) formed rotationally symmetrical to a central axis (22). The support plate is fixed at a drive shaft of a drive device, and supports primary blades (14) arranged at a distance to the central axis in radial direction and extending in axial direction. An inlet cross section defined by a cylinder port (46) is selected greater than an intake area defined by a support ring (18). The support ring is provided with guide blades (16) at a surface opposite to the support plate.
